July 2011 Newsletter
ECXC 2011 is only days away and GPAX is prepared to have an excellent showing once again. Over 20 GPAX members will be attending this year’s event from over 8 different states!
GPAX is providing 2 Yurts for ECXC. These yurts are available all weekend long and have been reserved for GPAX only. The yurts should fit 6-10 people and alleviate the need for a tent. The yurts do not have electricity, but have windows to allow ventilation. If you are interested in using one of the yurts to sleep in, please let me know ASAP. Info on the yurts can be found at KOA’s website: http://www.twingrove.com
I encourage all GPAX members to wear their GPAX t-shirts to the BBQ/Raffle night on Saturday. Once again, GPAX is generously sponsoring the BBQ and it would be great to show your pride and let everyone know what a great and supportive club we have!
If anyone from GPAX has any Xterra parts for sale and would like to sell them at ECXC please visit this thread on TheNewX.org: http://www.thenewx.org/forum/showthread.php?p=665741 – post665741
Supporting Memberships Still Available
The dues this year will be $25.00 per supporting member. GPAX is accepting all payments via PayPal at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The membership package for 2011/2012 will include a supporting member’s vinyl decal. The membership dues are extremely important for the success of the club and the ability for the club to sponsor local and countrywide events such as GONE Moab, ECXC and The National Xterra Meet in Smyrna, TN this June. The dues also go towards supporting the club’s website and our premier club runs, such as The Shocker Run and The Ridin’ Dirty Run. The membership also includes free decals for any of the clubs’ events and discounts on club merchandise.
* The supporting member decals will arrive and be available at ECXC!* Any supporting members who are not attending ECXC will have their decals mailed to them. I apologize for the delay, but better late than never!
Any supporting members who have not submitted a photo of their truck are encouraged to email a photo to us: mailto:email@example.com

GPAX is looking for a skilled web designer to help run our website. We have a well established website that I run myself, but I am no expert and it could really benefit from professional help. If you or anyone you know is interested please email us: mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org
I want to send a big thank you to everyone who made the trek down to Tennessee for the Nation Xterra Meet. We had an awesome showing from the east coast and it was a great time despite some organizational issues. It just goes to show you that where ever GPAX goes it is guaranteed to be a kick ass time. Traveling is fun part of Xterra ownership and there is nothing like a 900 mile drive in the south.
I also want to offer good luck to GPAX member Ben “Morris” Cooper who is undergoing surgery later this month. We wish him a safe surgery and a speedy recover. Go get ‘em Morris!
