Happy Holidays!
GPAX wishes everyone a safe and happy holiday season! The most important part of this season is having the best time you can with the people you love and getting everyone to grandmom’s house, the last minute trip to the mall, or your work holiday party, and back home safe for desert! We hope that you find some brand new modifications waiting for you under the tree or menorah this year. And, maybe Santa will bring your El Presidente the gift of 4 WD I have been looking for the past year!?!

GPAX is proud to offer a great fundraising campaign to benefit breast cancer research! We now have GPAX Breast Cancer Ribbon Decals for sale through donations. All proceeds from the sale of these decals will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, which directly benefits breast cancer research. No profit will be made from the sale of these decals. The decals are pink & white, vinyl and are available for $6 each via PayPal through the email mailto:payment@gpaxterras.org. Elections
GPAX will be holding elections in the new year (2012) for Vice President & Treasurer. And, as fair warning, GPAX will be holding elections for President & Secretary in 2013. Nominations are welcome and obviously the current officers are welcome and encouraged to run for re-election. Please begin to think if you or someone you know would care to step up and help run the machine that is one the largest Xterra clubs in the country.
Merchandise
T-shirts are available for $15 a piece and they are available in two colors (black and gray) and all sizes (S, M, L, XL, & XXL). Vinyl stickers are available in both 8? and 12? sizes in white, blue, red, yellow and green. Windshield banners are now available in 34?x3? for $10 a piece. New Club Decals!
GPAX has a new “standard” logo and now it is represented in these brand new 5”x5”, vinyl decals! These are available in all red & white or all black for $4 each.
Kudos
I want to send a big thank you to our current Vice President, Jason Katz, for all of his work over the past 3.5 years. Jason and I conceived of GPAX in the winter of 2008 and made it come to life later that summer. Jason has always been a positive influence on me and his passion helped make this club something we can all be proud of and that we can continue to watch grow over the years. Jason will be stepping down from his V.P. post this upcoming year and he will be missed. I wish him all the luck with his family and work and although he will not be as active with GPAX, he will not be a stranger either. Expect to see Jason and his salt and pepper beard at a GPAX run this winter!
I also want to send a big thank you to those who donated and attended this year’s Camp Out For Hunger on December 1, 2011! GPAX raised almost 400lbs of food and although it was not our largest effort in recent years every little bit makes a big difference in the life of someone in need. Thanks to Dan, Dani, Mike, Brian, Jason, Tom, Brad, Dave for all your help!
